This is a trailer for my documentary (82 min) about Southern Italian folk music and culture. I filmed it in Summer 2008 in Sicily, Calabria, Campania, and Molise. It was shot on a Canon xh-a1 and I used a stereo pair of audio technica 4051a mics to record the music and a AT shotgun mic for dialogue. I am currently submitting to film festivals and looking for a distributor. No I did not get into sundance ;)
I'm really happy with how the film came out and the overall quality of the video and audio. i am going to get the audio mastered eventually to smooth out a few spots etc.

Shooting the film was one of the best experiences of my life - also the most challenging, and I say that having passed the bar exam a few months ago!

Anyone have any ideas of good festivals for this film????
