No one responded so I figured I would.
Not sure what your goal is with the video but the shots look good. Would like to see more movement, lots of shots seemed kinda static, dry. Which leads me to my next point, the music. The music instantly makes me think of the You Tube short "The Piano". Maybe the music was just some filler you needed and that's fine, but for me the music didn't match the shots. To me nature shots usually dictate either big dramatic pieces or soft dreamy music. That piano piece to me conveys more of a mournful contemplation. Music conveys emotion, I always try to make sure emotion of the video and the emotion of the music match. Have fun with your 7D. :) |

You have some nice segments in here and I liked the music. It was a nice backdrop to this project. Was this 24p?

That's some really beautiful footage you managed to get there. I'm currently saving up for a 7D, and this only makes me impatient.
Did you use any color correction on this Also, enjoyed the use of the Amelie soundtrack, great choice. I particularly enjoyed the sounds of the water fading in part way through. It was nice touch. |
