I enjoyed it.

Can you talk a little about what went into the production, the equipment, etc.

Sure. We shot on the Z1u in 50i, CineFrame 25 (Cinema Tools to convert to 23.98 fps); doorway dolly (I forget the brand), a mix of lights (Mole Richardson, Arri, Kinos, etc.), G & E (C-Stands and the like), etc. Here's a photo of the G & E:

But the most important thing was the crew: I had a very experienced cinematographer and crew that really did a fantastic and fast job. We shot the whole thing in 2.5 weeks (14 days minus our days off). And a great cast that I rehearsed with more about 2 months.

Thanks!

Heath

Chris

ps. Your lead actress is a dream. Fantastic performance from her. In fact all your actors did a good job on this.

Chris,

I'd love to submit to it! Send me a pm with all the info. Marissa Medal (Amanda) did a terrific job, and she played the character before in 3 Sisters (a short):

Christie is played by a different actress in the short.

Thanks!!

Thanks, Scott, I appreciate it. Crested Butte, huh? Nice! I'm from Arvada originally; I still have family in Colorado. I always wanted to make a film out there.

Great film, Heath. I've seen you talk about this film a LOT since I joined here years ago. I'm glad I finally got a chance to see it. I don't think the film is perfect by any means, but what you did with what you had is just awesome. Keep up the good work.
