Hey George. Nice DP work. It looks good.

Can you tell me what the story was behind it though? What was with that picture she ripped up and all? I just didn't get it.

hey, thanks.

the story is, the thing she rips up is a flyer she gets at the party. it wasn't clear, cuz the flyer doesn't say anything on it, like "KEG PARTY" or "LOFT PARTY" or anything.

so now, she's just really sad and pouty. :-)

Ok, I'm a little slow...
So the guy at the party gives her the flyer, but she's mad at him or something, so she rips it up? Why does she drop her phone at the end/start? I need the whole thing explained to me. Sorry. :)

understandable!

its in reverse, so she rips up the thing, then we see her walking backwards to the party, where she gets the flyer. then we see her toss her phone, which was some sort of angering phone call.

in forwards: she gets mad at somebody on the phone, goes to a party where she gets a flyer, but she didn't like the party so she rips up the flyer and goes home.

hey man, good lookin video! it has an interesting kinda 80's look. i like it. keep it up. long song though eh?! almost 5 min, thats alot of stuff.

thanks! glad you picked up on the 80s. the band has this whole "depeche mode" influence.

It is a nice little video. However I thought it was low on contrast
which might be due to the web encode, I don't know. One other
thing about the web encode. I would suggest you crop your
footage and remove the black bars when posting something
like this. This will do one of two things for you:

1) lower the filesize / allow for longer encoding at the same filesize

2) increase quality of the stuff that matters (the picture) with the same filesize

Just a tip. Nice work!

thanks for the tips! i'll pass that info on to the director.

yeah, it is a little low on contrast. he was having issues with the encoding, cuz i remember one file that was way too contrasty.

very cool stuff I liked it a lot.

got a lot of rules of attraction style stuff going on there. That's one of my favorite movies that's why i dig that video a lot.
