horse country - an experimental short
This is a quick short I shot with my stock Canon XH-A1. There's no effects or color correction, this is just the footage right out of the camera, shot at 24f (my first time not shooting in 60i). Let me know what you all think.

I made this wanting to remind myself that not being able to afford a 35mm adapter didn't mean I had no control over DOF.

Good grief....I've just watched in HD on a very slow connection and I was completely blown away by the picture quality (and of course your excellent camera work!)
What a fabulous camera...and some really nice shallow DoF. Unfortunately, you've now got me questioning both my equipment and filming techniques!
