yea
I'm in the process of moving, and I have a business trip to Fairbanks Friday to Monday ( I leave in the morning)....so it will be slow coming.....more like next week sometime.
Any suggestions on how to keep my cross fades from looking like crap on the web? In this short, I could easily be called the "cross fade king". <;~)

Congratulations on winning.
Don't go to 50megs.com, the bandwidth will run out in a second with a file that size. I can host it for you, I have unmetered bandwidth. |

http://www.rollingedits.com/edit_uploads/PAR-1.wmv
If it blocks the remote link, go to www.rollingedits.com/edit_uploads/ and hit crtl+f and type in PAR-1.wmv and then click it or download it.. it will work from there. |

Right Click and Save As
*edit Couldn't get any link to work but got this message: "We are currently in the process of moving to a faster, more reliable server, and to do so we have to transfer all of the data from this server to the new one. This requires a lot of resources, bandwidth in particular. So sometime today or tonight (Wednesday March 3rd) we will be suspending edit uploading and downloading. It will at most be 2-3 days when it will be restored. We're sorry for the inconvenience but we are in dire need of all the bandwidth we can get to make the move go smoothly. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!" So it should be back up in a day or two. Cheers, Brian |

Dan,
Is there suppose to be audio with the video because I'm not getting any. The footage sure made me homesick for good ol' Anchorage! But I should be moving back in a month or so and I'll be able to catch the last of the snow. Cheers, Brian |

Dan
I started watching it, and got no audio. Then I realized the audio on my computer wasn't working. So I fixed it, and wen't back and started watching your movie again, but still no audio. Glad it wasn't just me! What's up with the audio? I'll wait to watch the whole thing once I find out.

should have mentioned it
It is a silent film.
We had to re-shoot mostly everything because my sound gear froze up @ ~10 degrees. So, this was an excercise in story telling with no sound.

Dan
While it is really nice to watch, it's is BEGGING for a musical score!!! Listen, you can hear it... s c o r e m e . . . s c o r e m e e e e . . . . The proper music would make it great. I think for what you have invested in it already, you should find a musician to do it, or at least look for a good piece of classical music that would suit it (probably with some editing to match it).
