MultiRig Documentaries
Kurt Augustyns from Belgium shoot 14 documentaries using his MultiRigPro.
100% of the shoots are MultiRig. The first three episodes are on his site: http://www.kurtaugustyns.com/wordpress/archives/ (look for the 'Onomatopee' films)

Hey, that's me!
Just because the series is in Dutch (for now, subtitles will follow later on), let me explain it a bit.
I follow writers who visit a guest family for a weekend. Afterwards, they write a text and I make two short documentaries. They are presented at an art exhibition, local television and later on a book and longer film. Nothing is staged, planned, or repeated for the camera, so I have to be very responsive to the people and the situation as it develops. Resulting in a lot of footage. I try to be as little intrusive on the situation as possible, so every time it's all or nothing. The Multirig allows me to focus more on the subject and less on holding the camera. Camera is Sony PD-150 with wide angle adapter and onboard microphone (Oktava, Rycote suspension and wind screen). |
