Build your own Fig-Rig inspired platform...

I was just thinking last night about the Fig-Rig and how it handled and it occured to me one could build something like this with a standard bicycle handlebar.

High quality road bike handlebars are light and strong and offers all kinds of positions to grip. You can buy cork handlebar tape to customize it anyway you want too.

I just mocked it up in Photoshop and offer it to you guys for your own inspection and laughs.

It might not balance as nicely as the fig rig---you will need to find the center of gravity of it by some kind of sliding plate...
