ab and dvrig

Hoping someone can tell me the best way to use the anton bauer batteries with the dvrig pro. What is the most compatible gold mount and how should it be attached to the back of the dvrig pro? I have searched but have not found the best setup.

I apologize if this question is too basic but if anyone can provide assistance I would sure appreciate it.

THANKS

Hi George,

The 2004 DvRigs backs had threads for batt. adaptors, Very few users used them.

The 2005 Dvrigs have few holes and slots at the back. So if you take off the
balance weight you will find few holes that will hold your Gold Mount.

Let me know if you need more help.

Hi Danny,

I have the 2005 dvrig and the ab qr-xl1-c gold mount.

The qr-xl1-c is designed to mount the ab batteries to the xl1 and xl1s camera.

The mounting holes on the plate of the dvrig do not match the mounting pattern for the qr-xl1-c plate.

I can probably get a piece of metal to secure the qr-xl1-c and then attach that to the dvrig.

I could also buy a different gold mount from anton bauer but do not know if any of the gold mounts are a direct match with the holes on the dvrig plate.

Open to suggestions really looking forward to working with the dvrig.

THANKS
