My Canon C100mkii just suddenly stops recording in slot A. Slot A Shows Red colored sign as if the card had ended it's memory, but i only just formatted it.

I use Sandisk Extreme 60mb/s 64gb.With my C-100mkii. The store i bought them from few years back don't sell them anymore. They only have the highier bit rate and cost more.

I think it's a safety feature, if incase one of the cards malfunctions so you have a back up.

Let's Say i prefer to have the Auto Iso instead of the Auto Aparture button. Sepia mode is more directed to stills photography..

I think with this king of Camera, the manufacture needs to give us the opportunity on features which are given in cheaper DSLR's. Like auto iso. So about the plenty other alternatives, i don't need a...

Roger, the card was identical to mine it was Sandisk 95mb.

The only reason it would stop recording, is a failure of the card or the body. I need to know which of these were the reason for that.

i used a my friend's card. might be that something was wrong with his card that jammed the system? The camera stopped recording on both cards. very peculiar.. I should contact Canon service for that.
