LANC controller for Sony HC3
Does sombody use a Lanc zoom controller (like Zoe...) on the HC1/HC3? The on-camera control seems rather rough and no slow zoom start-up is possible.

Could someone who has read these and other relevant threads comment on which is presently the cheapest LANC controller that provides push-to-autofocus capability for the HC1/A1?

Manfrotto 521Pro also has PAF on the Sony cams, but its $283. I think people are pretty happy with either of those machines - you may want to look at the manufacturers websites to see full feature list before you buy though. Am 100% sure the 521Pro has PAF on HC1/A1, and about 99% sure that the Zoe DVL has PAF also on HC1/A1. Certainly the literature on Zoe's site implies it has : http://www.bebob.de/pphlogger/dlcoun...on_eng-ger.pdf Perhaps a quick call to Bebob distributor in USA would confirm that last 1% of doubt for you : 16x9inc.
