VariZoom buttons

I've got an older Varizoom that I've stopped using because the zoom buttons don't work well.

I've got to press and wiggle and smoosh, then all of a sudden they work after I've already played with the speed knob to check. Crazy zoom happens. Throws the old XL1 completely out of focus. Aaghhh.

Does anyone know if I can just go to the electronics store and buy replacement buttons? They're kinda cheap, - be nice if they'd work.

I liked the varizoom back when it worked. Now I hunch over the tripod and, much as I hate to admit it, I'm just getting too old to keep doing that.

Thomas,

That's great! Most manufacturers these days give you the run around when there's a problem. I don't even bother Earthlink anymore... I always get some outsource guy reading a list of todo's that I've already done.

I've got the varizoom pro (not sure about the L) I'll dig out the info and email to the address you gave.

Don't know if it matters to anyone else, but VariZoom just made a major leap in my personal estimation. Thanks.
