Sony Vegas book deal on Amazon.
I am just about start editing for the first time. I have been using Mediastudio .. as I find it really easy to use as a novice. However, I am thinking of switching over to Vegas as I come from a music background and like the idea of tying in the video and sound using a program I'm already familiar with (Sound Forge).
I have just seen a deal on Amazon UK for the following books: Vegas 6 editing workshop Instant Vegas 5 I'd just like to know, if anyone is familiar with both, if the Vegas 5 book would be good to buy as a beginners 'basics' guide, and the editing workshop is more for people who are already familiar with both? Or does the Vegas 6 cover all of the basics that the other book does? |

Book I like
Vegas 6 Editing Workshop, Douglas Spotted Eagle. Esp. if you have some familiarity with an NLE already. This seems to me like the missing manual, better written as it gives it to you warts and all.
This site is also very helpful for filling in the blanks. I looked at some other books and I judged this one to be the best. Not disappointed. |
