HDV

Hey all,

At NAB 2005 I bought a few books. They had every book imaginable in their store.

I'm about 30% through with the "HDV - What You Need To Know" book. I've skipped around past things I already know. It's generally a good book and the few little things I wish it had (a little more practical tips for videographers is the only thing I wish it had) are moot when you realize that you can get that here from the author himself....a HUGE bonus for anyone buying books from authors who visit this forum.

So, I recommend this book to anyone into HDV. If you buy the book it's a great investment because Douglas Spotted Eagle (the author) is a DVinfo regular. Get it!

The book was just announced as a "Best Seller" at NAB, so HDV is paving quite a highway for itself.

My only regret from NAB this year is not having an opportunity for D.S.E. to sign my copy!

Yeah, me too. I didn't actually see anyone because I was there the last day...everything was still on display though. I just didn't see anyone from my virtual circles!
