books on special effects?
anyone know any good books on special effects that include
forced perspectives, blue/green screen use, etc. thanks, steve |

Are you talking about general talk or specific on how to do these
effects? Usually the books on the latter subject are written for a specific program like After Effects or Combustion etc. The trick to blue and greenscreen is (even) lighting and seperating the foreground from the background. Do a search on DVi here with on words like blue and green and you should find some threads that discuss that in more depth. If you are looking for general information a magazine called Cinefex is a well known mag that discusses special effects movies and how they did those effects for big-budget movies.
