Book: The Writer's Journey, Vogler
Hi,
What's your opinion on Campbell's/Vogler's ideas on telling stories? After you read the book, did you consciously apply the ideas in your work? I just finished the book and found it interesting, especially for someone with no background in telling stories (hotel & restaurant family you see, in case you were wondering why mikeysbistro). It's helping me out with writer's block, though it gets a little silly when I wake up in the morning and think that I have to go to work and that's my "call to action" ... :-p |
