books on color?
Hi, just wondering if anyone can recommend a good book for beginners on color theory, or more specifically the use of color as it applies to video/film production.
I did a simple search under "color theory" on Amazon and was overwhelmed by the amount of books on the subject. Thought maybe some of you pro's out there may have come across something good...? Thanks. Krishna |

Yes, that is a good book dealing with the psycho-spacial relationships involved in film and video. Deep stuff.
But the book I think you're looking for is "Color Correction for Digital Video" by Steve Hullfish and Jaime Fowler. It presents a very good flyby on this subject in very practical terms.

Thanks so much for the recommendations, Rob and Ken. Both of these books look like a must read.
Appreciate the help. Krishna |
