hmmm...I don't think this is classified as a FS thread. Anyhow, if you do not go with the XL1, I will. Also not sure if you will get $1800 for it repaired, but definitely $1500 easy.

The Sony V1U is very capable camera, the only reason why I'm looking to trade is to match up with another Z1U.
