Thanks for the run around
Matt,
I wish you would have let me know that you wanted more for the tripod. I didn't appreciate setting up a meeting to buy the tripod and having you not show and not answer your phone. You could have simply told me you no longer wanted to sell it for $250, you could have saved me some gas and time. Jonah |

You never set up a meeting. I had work when your boss was in the area, but then I never heard from you again. There was never even a meeting location so how did you go somewhere to meet me? We didn't set up a meeting, we didn't pick a location to meet, and you never called after I couldn't get off work to meet up with your boss. Matt |

If that is true, you could have answered one of the half dozen calls or even replied to me that you had something come up. But you didn't.
No we didn't have a meeting place, you told me to call when my pick up person was in your area and you would meet them. So after she drove to the area you choose, you stopped answering your phone. You are right, I didn't call again because I don't deal with flaky people. Try to be a little more reliable. Jonah |

I cant just call you when on set. Your boss was in the area for another reason not just to pick up the tripod. If your going to try and make me look bad at least tell some truth.

Sony EX1 kit (camera, mic, case, SxS, etc)
It's a very long story, and I love this camera, but I've decided to focus more on my still photography than on my new tech-obsession with video. It's a sad hard decision, but I have to do it.
All the equipment is mint, and less than 5 months old. Everything you need is here: batteries, cards, zoom control, cover, shotgun mic, etc. I have receipts and manuals for everything, and original boxes for some. I'd like to sell everything together, as I have custom cut the Pelican foam to fit everything precisely, and it can be shipped safely in this. Everything is still under warranty from manufacturers. List of included equipment: - Sony PMW-EX1 (mint, no backfocus problems, it went to Sony once and got the latest firmware update) - (2) 8gb SxS cards - (1) 16gb SxS card - (1) Sony BP-U30 battery - (2) Sony BP-U60 batteries - B+W 77mm UVA slim filter on lens - Petrol (PRC-S-HDV) rain cover with carry bag - Pelican 1610 waterproof case w/ foam custom cut, wheels, pull out handle, auto pressure valve - Cinetatics ls40 screen hoodie (never used) - Sennheiser K6 Power Module (for mic) - Sennheiser ME66 Short Shotgun mic (super cartoid) - 1' coiled XLR cable with 90-deg (for mic) - Bebob Zoe Zoom Control for EX1 (for controlling zoom remotely) - Rycote Softie (wind cover for mic) - Original battery charger, video cables that came with EX1, camera strap All of this stuff bought new retail would total $9635 +tax. I'm asking $8600, as it's all in mint condition. Pop the case open and you are ready to shoot in 1080p with the EX1. You can view the four pieces I shot with this exact camera setup on my website: www.jmvdigital.com (under Motion page) or on my Vimeo page: http://www.vimeo.com/jmvdigital. Photos of all equipment: PM me or email me at info (at@) jmvdigital.com. -Justin |

Sachtler DV6SB fluid head w/ 2-stage CF legs
Sachtler DV 6 SB fluid head paired with the Sachtler Speedlock 2-stage carbon fiber legs. Less than 5 months old. Features a 75mm bowl, 20lbs. payload capacity, lightup bubble level, mid-level spreader, steel spike feet with additional rubber flat feet for hard surface. Comes with their plush padded zip-up bag. Super steady, barely used. I machined a small hole in top sliding plate to allow it to be mounted to slide forward and backward while still allowing access to the safety bolt. Functions exactly as it does stock, except now you can reverse the plate to compensate for overly rear-balanced cameras like the Sony EX1. I had to do it, otherwise the head would always creep because the balance couldn't be achieved perfectly, now it's more flexible.
The exact specs: http://www.sachtler.us/index.php?id=...34&exp_cid=109 Sells for $2150 retail, asking $1700. PM me or write me at info (at@) jmvdigital.com -Justin |
