Does it have to be carried Andy or can it be tilted & rolled along? If it will roll I'm interested at your price.

This is a carry type I'm afriad, no wheels, sorry mate! It has fittings for a harness (an optional extra from Petrol - that I don't have) that would allow it to be worn as a back pack, albeit quite a big one! See the Petrol website for details etc......
I actually bought a Petrol roll along bag this week (the PWR-HDV one.) This new one has a pull out handle like the airline carry on bags that I seemed to have spent half my life dragging all over the world the last 10 years (as well as a top carry handle AND a harness, i.e. 3 options for lugging it around!) Whilst it was much more expensive than the above PCCB-2N bag was new, (and won't hold anywhere near as much) it's blummin marvelous...so if you want wheels take a look at that one.

A bit more info on the Merlin, as asked by some of you :
I also bought the accessory plate for this Merlin. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ory_Plate.html So, to be correct, I'm selling a Steadicam Merlin Camera Stabilizer (without Metal Gimbal - with original plastic one) with the Merlin Accessory Plate. (It's the Garrett Brown Limited Signature Edition MERLIN, offered in a custom store-and-carry padded case, it includes a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Garrett Brown, the inventor of the Steadicam. ) http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ng_System.html If you want to, it's not neccessary at all, you can get the metal gimbal as an upgrade at b&h : http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...nt_Gimbal.html) I used the Merlin with the plastic gimbal without any problem. I have upgraded to the Steadicam Pilot, that's why I'm selling. Last edited by Eugene Presley; May 14th, 2008 at 11:22 PM. |
