in aus you're hardly like to see too many s/h hd cameras at all. looking at ebay is, as just pointed out, a waste of time....
i'd be talking to the rental houses and see if they've got any their updating / replacing. of course, it wont be shiny new, and that fresh plasticky smell will have long gone, probably along with the manual, lens cover, even mic. but it'll still be cheaper than a new one. good luck leslie |

I don't know where you got your numbers but 265€ it's actually around 420us$.
I've used this lens with the sgpro with absolutely no vignetting. |

FS: 82mm macro kit
Fs is a 82mm macro kit (+1, +2, +4, +10). I bought this to use on a 35mm photo lens that had an 82mm front thread but I no longer have this lens nor do I have a video camera with a 82mm front thread (hvx200, jvc, etc). I'm asking for 35us$ plus shipping.

I was making a jest about our failing currency.
No vignetting on a 35mm adapter is a big plus for a lens like this. 28-105 covers perfectly most shots one would want to try with a 35mm adapter. Any longer and the lens would be too big and any wider will have too much barrel distortion. I wish I was in a position to buy as I have wanted a lens exactly like this but didn't know they existed. If you really don't need that lens, don't give up because it is certainly worth a lot on the open market. I'm surprised you haven't sold it already here... |

Dave, I've been pretty happy with mine. I posted a short project on here a couple weeks ago - not sure if you've seen it: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthrea...hlight=fig+rig
Just a plug for the rig - I feel like it's worth a try at least. A lot of it depends on what style you're looking for - if you want butter-smooth flybys it won't do it, but if you want flexibility and small inconspicuous form factor, and make your handheld work easier and better, it's perfect. |

Leslie has good advice. However we may soon see some on ebay here in America as I am sure some owners are upgrading to the Z7U or the EX1 and will hvae V1U's for sale.
Before I ordered my two V1U's last week I also wondered about used ones. Does anybody know if there are some websites specializing in used professional and prosumer video equipment? I did check out the Sony Outlet but they did not have much and what they had seemed priced pretty high. |
