I know Bruce- I do this all the time- buy a camera at full price then end up selling it within weeks, at a loss- this is the consumer electronics game!
The good news for me is that it looks like my "perfect" camera is coming out---- http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=83341 This equates to a A1 with Firestore for me and is exactly what I've been wanting. I'm sure it wont match the A1's image quality but if it's even close I'd love it! I still have the FS4HD which I'll try to sell harder as soon as this new HD7 is released- I'll also sell my JVC HD1U as well. Not much sense for everyone I'm sure- but fits my needs to a TEE! Keep in touch Bruce. |

Dropping the price to $7100. There are some marks on the evf plastic. I called Canon and it will cost $60 to replace so I think my additional $200 drop will adequately cover this. The marks do not interfere with the functionality of the camera in any way. They are also not noticeable when looking through the viewfinder.

Thanks Steve, nice to meet you in person!
I highly recommending buying stuff from Steve, firstly because he keeps buying all the newest stuff, and then selling it at a discount ... And secondly, because he's a pleasure to do business with. ** And if you give me a couple of weeks, I might take that Firestore off your hands, unless someone beats me to it.
