Fresh Canon 20x XL2 Lens!
Hi all,
Reducing my inventory to pay off my new XLH1. For sale is a Canon XL2 20x lens. I had it as a spare for my XL2 and used it on my XL1s. Found a speck of dust in the inside of the rear element, so sent it to Canon. Just got it back yesterday all cleaned, adjusted to specs and fully checked out by Canon. I will include the receipt from Canon Factory Service. If you need or want a lens for your XL1, XL1s, or XL2 this is it. 20x has two ND stops rather than one on the 16X. So, if you need a lens or want to upgrade it is a good deal. It will go to ebay on Sunday, if no one here is interested. $875.00 shipped to your door in the 48 states. Thanks-----Mike

I'm interested in the softie and the kata case. Is there any chance I could see a picture of the two, to verify their condition?

WTB D8/Hi8 Camera
I am in need of a camera that will read analogue Hi-8 tapes that also has firewire. Back in the day, I shot a lot of stuff on Hi-8. Both of my Hi-8 cameras have since gone the way of the Dodo and I need to get the footage off and transfer it to digital.
I used to have a Sony TRV that would record in digital 8, but still read analogue Hi-8 and output either to firewire. I need something like that again. I only need the camera to do the transfer, so it doesn't have to be in stellar condition -- it doesn't even need to be capable of recording. Anybody got anything they're looking to dump-off cheap? Thanks, Vence

ASh,
Have you sold the cavision support? Do you believe it would be steady enough to support my xl2 with heavey lens attached?

Sennheiser MKH-416 P48 Shotgun Mic / K-tek Boompole / Rode Shockmount
Selling some of my high-end audio gear:
[#1] Sennheiser MKH-416 (P48) Super-Cardioid Short Shotgun Condenser Interference Tube Microphone. This is the normal phantom-powered MIC, not the wacky 12V (MKH416T) version that could harm your camera. Arguably, this is one of the best mics made... and is the choice of many pros. LINK: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ughType=search It is like new and includes windscreen and Sennheiser hard plastic case. email me for pictures if interested. Purchased for $1100 @ B&H in February 2006. $925 shipped +3% for Paypal [#2] K-Tek KE110CCR - Aluminum Boompole with Coiled Cable and Side Exit (2.5' - 9.2' length) LINK: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...cessory_detail Purchased from B&H for $240 in May 2006. LIKE NEW $195 shipped +3% for Paypal [#3] Rode SM3 - Adjustable Suspension Shockmount with Camera Shoe Adapter for Shotgun Microphones LINK: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ughType=search Purchased from B&H for $50 in Feb 2006. $45 shipped + 3% Paypal All of the above is in mint condition. Let me know if you want to see pictures. thanks, --Jim (I have some feedback here and lots (100% positive) on the 'bay) |

I used it on an XL2 and with the lens support, it can support just about any lens. I had a LetusXL and a pretty beefy 135mm at the end of that and it was very stable. IMHO the rods alone are not enough, you really need the lens support.
I still have the setup if interested. ash =o) |
