Wanted: laptop for HD editing
I'm looking to buy a laptop with the following specifications:
Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7700 (2,0 GHz minimum) Monitor: minimum resolution 1680 x 1050 Memory: minimum 2GB RAM (1 x 2GB...MUST be upgraqdable to 4gb) HD: at least 120gb 7200 rpm (I'll buy a raid latter) Firewire Output for an external monitor Output for a TV (s-video?) Panasonic PV-GS400 With 2yrs left on Mack Warranty
PV-GS400 gently used and low hours (less than 9), for sale. $700.00. Comes with box and all factory accessories (remotes, manual, wires, battery). Only thing is I replaced factory USB cord with a faster firewire cord.
*It also will have an extra battery that is extended life. **It also has a Transferrable Mack warranty that expires in November of 2009. These Mack warranties are basically an extension of the manufactures normal warranty and cover the same stuff. The fee to transfer the Mack warranty will have to be paid for by the purchaser. Kirk,
Assuming your rain cover is still for sale... Have you actually used this rain cover on an XL-2? How does it fit? I only ask because I know Porta Brace sells a model designed specifically for the XL-2. It's hard to know without having both of them in hand what the differences, if any, between the XL1/MA200 and XL-2 Porta Braces are. |

no I had it for an XL1 The xl1 and xl2 are similar in size and this is a roomy cover with the MA feature the mic and eye piece are in the same general area as well. I know this is not much help so if you want it for the xl2 its still cheap and might be worth a try for 75 dollars for a brand new cover
