Hi David,
If it helps you to know the marketplace, many videographers like the Raider icuff that sells new for US $50 Good luck, Michael |

Michael ,thank you for the tip.
This is made out of soft rubber, It will fit the face like a DVX eyepiece or a Sony V1 eyepiece. It can be suited to left or right handed user. I also have the icuff which I find to soft for my liking. This is the missing piece that Canon should have made for the XHA1 or XHG1. It fits over the existing eyepiece, there is no need to remove anything, you can still adjust the V.F . It doesn't not block the lever below It is indispensable when you are shooting outdoor when it is a bright and sunny. It fits the face and covers the whole eye. I can shoot for hours with it on a sunny day. See new picture . It shows the whole eye being covered and covers nicely over the face. There were so many of you complaining that it is just a rubber. and that you could cut out one by yourselves. I bought a Fig Rig even though I could build a copy with PVC for $20. I find it very expensive too. But I guess we all know that the Film industry is never cheap, especially specialized parts. Sometimes it is the look that counts too. What would my client think when I come with a camera with a self made solution on it. Everything seen on a set has to have a "Professional Look". Have you ever head of a saying " You pay peanuts you get monkeys". I want my clients to know that they are paying for a professional cameraman not some weekend warrior. The question shouldn't be "Isn't 40 euros is abit expensive" , it should be "does the 40 euros give you 40 euros worth of benefit "? 40 euros might be alot to some of us , but for those of us who makes a living from professional shooting . It is not a question of that it cost 40 euros, but that it gives us 40 euros worth of benefits . In my case I find that it does help me shoot in a sunny and bright environment and my eye feels comfortable even after shooting the whole day. I focus better, I get the job done better and faster. It doesn't hurt my eye and I spend less money on going to the optician to have my eyes check. Camera's, Aceesories & stedicam for sale...
I've stepped up to a bigger gun and need to move a few things.....
all items are in like-new condition and have all original boxes, paperwork & accessories. ---------------- Sony HDR-FX1 Purchased new from B&H a year ago.... used as #3 camera on a few projects.... very low hours I'll include 4 NP-570 (genuine sony ) batteries Asking $2200 with free shipping in the lower 48 US ---------------- Sony HVL-LBP led video light Purchased new from B&H just 3 months ago... I've only had a few opportunities to use this light and I must say that it works very nicely. It's bright enough to use as an on-camera fill in broad daylight. and has a wide enough and even spread to be used with the z1 and fx1 at their widest zoom. I'll include 1 NP-770 ( genuine sony ) battery Asking $450 with free shipping in the lower 48 US ---------------- Steadicam merlin vest & arm + metal gimble I was fortunate enough to be one of the first to get one of these... and it worked like a charm for the project I needed it for. Only has had about 6 hours of use and is in like-new condition. I'll include a zero haliburton case that the vest/arm fit in very nicely ( older case with some scuffs ) http://www.witzke-studio.com/hd/mercase.jpg ( the merlin will also fit in here ) Asking $1800 with free shipping in the lower 48 US ---------------- Steadicam Merlin this is the signature model that includes the molded foam zipper case. I'll also include an accessory plate ( included extra weights ) that allows you to put wireless receivers or hardrive recorders or whatever else on the merlin. right now it's dialed in for a Z1 with shotgun and 550 batt. Asking $700 with free shipping in the lower 48 US ---------------- Azden 200ULT dual-channel on camera wireless lapel mic system This is the model that has 2 lav body pack transmitters.... it has worked great for a cooking show I did! very clear and sounded great! Still has the original batteries installed as it has not had much use. Asking $450 with free shipping in the lower 48 US ---------------- Canon HV-10 very low use as I've only used it as a #4 camera 2 times.... probably has less than 3 hours on it. Asking $500 with free shipping in the lower 48 US I'd prefer paypal as the purchase option.... thanks! |
