Canon GL2 For Sale
Canon GL2 For Sale
Pristine condition - like new. Low-milage: approximately 40 hours on heads based on the number of tapes I've shot. Never used as a deck. (I have a Sony DSR-11 capture deck.) All original accessories, including original box - (manual might be missing. I swear I have it, but can't put my hands on it, yet.) Also screw on Professional Digital Wide Angle lens Also Very nice Portabrace bag big enough to carry the camera, extra batteries, on board light, extra lens, power adapter and more. $1,200 shipped in Continental US. Or $1,100 without the Portabrace bag. Pictures here: http://web.mac.com/vencevida/iWeb/Site/Home.html Vence Vida

I've received a few emails from people who are interested but I'm waiting to hear back from Shane since he was first to reply. So unless he changes his mind the tripod is spoken for (head and controller too). I'll post here if he does change his mind.
Thanks all, Greg |

FX-1 For sale; $2100; great condition
I am (reluctantly!) selling my Sony FX-1.
I've put together a few picts at http://www.boville.net/Sony_FX1/ Price: $2100 + shipping and Paypal. Also includes the remote and the larger Sony battery. It was used for a little citizen journalism that I do in my neighborhood--camera never loaned out (I never let anyone else touch it!). I couldn't figure out how to tell how many hours are on it but if someone will remind me I'll let you know. Includes what is in the picture, in original box (+ remote). Shipping from San Francisco Bay area. Everything works etc. The only potential "flaw" is that when I first owned the camera I used get a thin black line at the very top edge of the image. The problem mysteriously vanished (note I changed computers and software during this same time). I also discovered that an old tape that I shot had the line when I processed it a year or so ago (when the camera was new and I was new, too) but when I used that same tape to make a new version the line was gone. That seems support to the idea that the problem is not in the camera. Here is an example where it shows: http://video.photodemocracy.org/Coas...s_Slide_Closed And here is a version I recut from those same tapes a year later where it has inexplicably vanished: http://www.montarafog.com/video/720q...ad_Closed_x720 I say all this not to scare you off but to offer full disclosure. I'm a big believer in accurately describing things for sale over the Internet, even over describing problems. Seven-day return policy fir USA customers if returned in same condition as sent. Buyer pays return shipping and insurance. Overseas customers are welcome. For non-USA customers I have a "no return" policy (learned the need for this from e-bay, unfortunately)--I will ship with insurance and tracking at your cost--lost packages, etc will have to be dealt with between you and the shipper (though I will provide all documentation, photos, etc). That said I've never had a lost or damaged pacaked and about 40% of my sales go overseas. I'm "boville" on e-bay if you'd like to check my feedback. If you are in the SF Bay area come by and see it. I take paypal, etc. Thanks, --Darin PS: This camera was offered here before but was sold on e-bay but never shipped to the customer. The buyer ran into all sorts of unusual, international issues and I decided the best course was just to refund the money and sell it elsewhere. |
