FS: Canon GL2 & acces.
I'm having to sell my Canon GL2 (and Canon XL1s, but I'll make another post for that later). It's a sad day for me, but I'm starting my trek into HD. This camera is in great condition (very minor ware), as I have had it cleaned by Canon every year. Includes:
GL2 Camera (with the hood, lens cap, etc) Canon GL2 Hardcase Glidecam 2000 (official, not 3rd party) Canon brand Wide Angle Lens Phoenix brand Fish Eye Lens WL-D77 Remote ("WL-D77" stands for "the one that comes with it") (3) 1 hour batteries (3 hours) - 2 Canon, 1 third party CA-920 Compact Power Adapter ("CA-920" = "Battery Charger for the GL2 batteries" ... I never realized the random numbers and letters associated with these things until today) UV, FL, and Polar filters I spent over $3500.00 for all of this new. I'm asking under half ($1750, $1700 if I don't have to ship (Memphis, TN)) and I take care of all of my equipment! I'm not exactly how many hours are on the camera, but I'm assuming (by looking at my tapes) that there's about 30 hours on it. Also, this camera does not have the strap. I never used it, as it was on a tripod through many shots, and I didn't want to risk someone snagging it and taking the camera out of commission. I have no idea where it even is. |

FS: Sony FX-1
I am (reluctantly!) selling my Sony FX-1. Thought I would try here before e-pay.
I've put together a few picts at http://www.boville.net/Sony_FX1/ You can't see it but it includes a mint condition B+W (expensive) protective filter on the lens (there since day 1). Price: $2300 + shipping. Also includes the remote (which I forgot to look for). It was used for a little citizen journalism that I do in my neighborhood--camera never loaned out (I never let anyone else touch it!). I couldn't figure out how to tell how many hours are on it but if someone will remind me I'll let you know. Includes what is in the picture, in original box (+ remote). Shipping from San Francisco Bay area. Sold "as-is" which I define as "not DOA" and "as described here." Everything works etc. The only "flaw" is that occasionally I get a thin black line at the very top edge of the image. This problem may very well be in my computer/editing software but I've never been able to track it down so let's assume the worst and say it is in the camera. Never bothered me (it is very thin--a few pixels?... and right at the edge) but I want to describe, indeed, over-describe it, just so you know. I can dig up sample if you like. Overseas customers are welcome. For non-USA customers I have no return policy (learned the need for this from e-bay, unfortunately)--I will ship with insurance and tracking at your cost--lost packages, etc will have to be dealt with between you and the shipper (though I will provide all documentation, photos, etc). Blah, blah, blah. This is all the stuff I would normally write on e-bay--seems like overkill here. If you are in the area come by and see it. I take paypal, etc. Thanks, --Darin |
