Just curious, does that head make motor noise that the camera can pick up? How fast does it pan?

You can adjust the speed of the pan/tilt. The noise isn't audible on the slower settings, but if you move it fast, you'll hear it slightly... I used it on my second camera that I wasn't using audio with...

B&H has it for $15. Send it to me for $15 more and I'll take it. I only live across town in West Covina which isn't but an hour's drive from Santa Clarita, so shipping via ground shouln't be that much.

I'll tell you what. How about you pay $80 + $20 (for 2x25' cables since I won't need them anymore) + actual shipping?

yes, ntsc but this can be modified by canon to shoot in PAL
