FS: Sony TRV900, Sony PVM-1354Q Broadcast Monitor
Sony TRV900 3CCD MiniDV camera - $700:
Original owner. Small scratch on left side of camera (see last pic) and "S" missing in the Sony logo but otherwise in great shape. Not sure about the exact hours but based on the number of tapes I have it's probably around 100 hours. I never used a tape twice. I have only used Panasonic tapes since I bought the camera and I haven't run a cleaning tape through it. You should probably run a cleaning tape through it after you get it. Comes with all original accessories plus one (1) NP-F750 and one (1) NP-F550 battery which I've had since I had the camera. Packed in original box and ready to be shipped. HR Trinitron tube with 600+ lines resolution and SMPTE C phosphors. Standard broadcast monitor features such as underscan, blue only, tally lamp, chroma adjust, 4:3/16:9 switchable, color temp adjust, etc. Get this and use a genuine broadcast monitor for color correcting. I prefer to sell this to someone local to Southern California so that they can just pick it up. I'm located in the Inland Empire. But if you want me to ship it, the shipping cost will be about $50 because of the weight and the extra packaging needed to protect it. WTB: FCP 5.1 upgrade/crossgrade
I have Final Cut Studio, and failed to upgrade to FCP 5.1 during the free period, mistakenly thinking the value was only for folks with Intel boxes. My G5 Dual does an okay job working with footage from my XH-A1, but it's a bit more fiddly than I'd like.
So I'm wondering if someone who's upgraded to FCP6/Final Cut Studio 2 might have the crossgrade discs around to offer me. Please drop a note if so. Thanks! |

Scott, Apple's license forbids selling the old version of your software after upgrading to a new one. So unless I'm missing something, the only way someone could sell you FCS 5.1 would be if they purchased the full version of FCS 6 instead of the upgrade.

WTB: Used 8GB P2 Cards
Hi:
Are you dumping some 8GB P2 cards in anticipation of delivery of the new 16GB cards? As you know, everyone is out of stock on P2 cards and I have an HVX-200 with no cards. Kind of frustrating, not being able to shoot HD. If you are thinking of dumping some of your 8GB cards, I am interested in buying two or three. As you know, once the 16GBs become widely available in a couple of months, the re-sale value of the 8GB cards will fall quickly, sell them to me now while you can still get a fair price and somewhat protect your investment. Post here, e-mail me directly at blfilms@mac.com. Would prefer to transact in the LA area in person so I can test the cards and hand you cash but will consider a reputable person out of the area to buy from as well. Thank you for helping out a fellow HVXer who is down on his luck on getting P2 cards. Dan Brockett |
