FS: Firestore FS-4 Pro 80GB
I've got a nice firestore FS-4 Pro here, the 80GB version (factory 80G, not 'upgraded' like some). It's got a power cable and a case/holster and original manual. I can get pictures to anyone interested and probably answer some questions about its capabilities. This is NOT the HD version, however it can be upgraded with software (no, I don't have it).
I'd love to trade into an XL2 or DVX or something. Otherwise, price is 850 OBO shipped to USA. Any questions, just e-mail me. Thanks! |

F.S. 9.6" Color Monitor
I have a TFT type LCD monitor, 5.6" It is color & 4:3 ratio. It comes with power supply, audio/video cable, 120v power supply & manual.
It is in excellent condition; I bought it to use with my GL 2. It had had very little use by the original owner. I have had it for 6 mos. but never used it with the camera. It is the same unit that has been sold regularly for $265- by a number of video equipment dealers. Reason for sale, going hi def. & will be selling the GL2. Price $95- plus shipping. |

I'm selling it because I need some extra money, not because I'm unsatisfied with it.

Hi Patrick, Thank for your reply. I understand your comment... it might look fishy. But, they are actually kids which are following some cinema workshop with me. I used to be an assistant-teacher in an ethnographic film class for 2 years at the university of montreal and since last year i'm conducting cinema workshop (about 6 month with the specific kids i was refering in the previous post). Basically, we give them the possibility to represent themselves with video. Some are making documentary some others are shooting fictions. I have a BA in anthropology and a college diploma in cinema and my master thesis should be heading toward visual anthropology (a specific domain in which most of my works has been dedicated to). As for the mic / WA,... we had a budjet of 1500$CAN for everything (including ALL the cost) and, even though we did anticipate to buy a microphone (since my RODE videomic won't be available forever...) if we get a mic for next to nothing we could use the rest of the money for something else, even if it's just some more tapes. I would be happy to send you some pics (how can i do that in this post ?). I can't give you any close-up of the faces, obviously. Have a good one. Philippe |

Zoe Controller
Hi,
Interested in your Zoe....how did it perform with your FX-1? Did it improve the zoom ramp up/smoothness? Also, was it compatible with the Auto/Push Focus feature on the FX-1? Thanks, John Reilly |
