FS Steadicam Flyer, Great Condition
I've backed myself into a corner and need a heavier rig. So, I'm putting up a gently used Steadicam Flyer. The only sign of use at all is on the hangrip - there is a slight amount of brassing. It's about 9 months old, so it has the most recent monitor and the black arm - the most current arm. Search the forums for more info regarding the rig if you'd like, but in its price and size range, nothing can touch the flyer. The flyer arm was the first of the new "geo" style arms, and the tech from this particular arm trickled UP to the new Ultra II steadicam.
This particular rig is outfitted with the Sony/IDX style V-mount - a very versatile mount if you're planning to use other toys with your batteries. I am NOT selling batteries with the rig, because it's generally best to buy the batteries you'll want and need, and not used. batteriesforbroadcast.com has excellent deals if you're just starting out. I'm also including a pipe mount hardmount. This is a VERY useful thing if you're working with grips. Any place a grip can securely mount 1.5" Speedrail, you can hardmount the steadicam - vehicles, dollies, rickshaws, etc. Please email me for the price. Serious inquiries only please. If you need to know what a flyer looks like, go to Steadicam's website, they have a lot of pics. jaron@jaronberman.com If you've taken the workshop and are browsing for that right deal to jump into it, here's a great opportunity. Learn good habits right away with a real rig. The difference in feel between this and the Clipper/Ultra/Pro is far less than the difference between this and the "low cost" competitors. |

Hi Shane -
fleabay pricing is comparable to the quotes you just got - 3000 is low, but 35-3600 is probably about right. I've already got one <G>, so just giving you an idea of market value. DB>) |

After additional thought, lets bring the price down to $500 on the camera, which would include the camera bag and S&H as well.
Again, I'm sure most of you know, but it's a great 3CCD camera. The camera is also in Japanese, but I would also be including the English translations as well. Again, send me a PM if you're interested or reply here. I'm more than willing to post pics of the camera if need be. |

Jason, after owning both the XL1s/20X and the GL2... we kept the XL1s until now, the GL2 we once owned has been gone for 2 years. Not bashing the GL2, I loved ours, but I prefer the glass on this combination. I hope you find something that works equally well for your needs.
We added a pics folder to view all of the items we have for sale. http://www.digitalmediaone.com/for-sale/ Canon XL1s with 20X - $1800/offer Tripod - make offer Monopod - offer Petrol rain cover - $85/make offer (this item is new, had another never used this one). Lite panel - has been reduced to $300/offer Or, our CEO says that the first $2000 takes all of them as a bundle (buyer pays shipping). Makes a great starter package, and saves me time and trouble so I'm all over that. ;) Note: FigRig was SOLD .
