Manfrotto 525MVB Tripod 75mm Bowl, 502HD Fluid Head, 530SPRB Mid Level Spreader
I selling my trusty Manfrotto 525MVB two-stage aluminum tripod with 75mm interface bowl. It's lightweight, constructed with high-tensile aluminum and is extremely rigid and stable. It has adjustable leg lock levers for reliability and safety in the field. The lowest leg section has twin metal spiked feet. The tripod can also be equipped with optional spiked feet shoes, different types of dollies, and two models of mid-level spreader. It has a closed length of 28 inches, a maximum load capacity of 33.1 pounds, a weight of 7.5 pounds, a minimum height of 12.6 inches and a maximum height of 61.5 inches.
This specific tripod has had its stock ground level spreader replaced with the much more versatile 530SPRD mid level spreader. This spreader fits the mid level joint casting, and provides additional rigidity and structural support for the tripod. Unlike most spreaders, it lets you fine-tune the spreader brace angle to perfectly suit your working position. In combination with angle adjustments, you can use the quick click-stop arm length presets for rapid, precise operation. The 525MVB tripod is designed for heads with a 75mm ball; however, this sale includes a 3284Ball that accepts flat tripod heads with a ⅜” - 16 connection; such as the 502HD AH. The 502HD AH video head has a weight capacity of 15.4 lb and its counterbalance supports 8.8 lb. The balance plate's 3.27" range allows you to correct for uneven payloads that might be due to matte boxes or exotic DSLR rig configurations. The bridging technology ensures that the pan friction control is intuitive and easy to set, but also protected against knocks. There are of course independent locks for pan and tilt, and drag for both is selectable in a continuous range from zero to the max level. This allows you to operate the head in a confident, smooth manner using the included pan bar. The sale includes everything shown in the photographs as well as a 504PLONG long quick-release mounting plate… which I forgot to include while photographing the rest of it. Everything is in perfect working condition - the head and spreader are relatively new and show little sign of use, the tripod does exhibit scratches on the inner legs from contact with the spreader. Still available. The plate is a Cartoni proprietary plate and is included with the tripod. Check the Cartoni website or,call them for any information on the head. It works buttery smooth and I had great success with it. Selling some of my equipment since I don't do much video anymore. I am including FedEx shipping and will have FedEx professionally packaged it. It is in excellent condition.
