Re: Wanted Battery for JVC GY HD-100U(A)

Hi Lisa,

I have an Anton Bauer adapter for the HD100 -- got two by accident when I owned the camera. You can have it for $10 plus actual shipping, probably five or six bucks. Let me know, my email is tip@tkdvisions.com and phone number is 909 338-3160.

Re: Wanted Battery for JVC GY HD-100U(A)

Hi Lisa

Just a sort of OT question - are you still using tape or something else? I use my 110 with a Ninja these days. Still a great camera for Web stuff.

I use the AB setup and with a 140 WA battery I can run more than 3 hours and the battery is still kicking.

Hi Jim,

Right, now I am using tape but plan to go to tapeless in future. It's been a great camera.

JVC GY HD100 U viewfinder

I'm curious to know if there is one for sale? I turned my camera on today and the viewfinder is black but LCD working.Curious to know if there is one available and price? Not sure how to tell if it is viewfinder problem only or something else causing it. It records video and audio so hope it is just the viewfinder.

Thank you.

Re: JVC GY HD100 U viewfinder

Hi Don,

Added to my watchlist. The one for the HD250, will that work on the hd100? I sent seller a question so hopefully it is.

Have you heard of many of the viewfinders going bad on the hd100? I did some searching but only saw a couple of problems via web. I found an old post in this forum and someone mentioned they cleaned the contacts and their viewfinder began working again. Post mentioned they used marine grade electronic cleaner. My contacts look clean to and the pins are not bent or broken. First major problem I have had with this camera. It's been a good trusty old thing. lol
