I've bought two of these in brand new condition off Ebay in thee past 2 months for less than $500.

Probably the things you've seen on eBay for <$500 are the basic kit that don't include the plug on transmitter. I think this one is the ENG kit that is normally $800 retail, right?

Panasonic AG-AF101E for sale. Excellent condition bought new for £3500. This is a "cine"-style camera that has been used in a professional environment on documentaries and short films. Includes: 5x batteries 1x additional IDX quick battery charger included (so 3 batteries in total can be charged at once using this and the Panasonic one included) -- worth £90 Includes all original accessories except for a missing eyepiece element which prevents the rubber eye cup from being mounted securely but can easily be fixed by securing with a PVC tape or other means. The camera is in excellent condition with only a few cosmetic marks from normal use. It has had a careful, professional owner and has not been dry hired. It is 2 and a half years old and has an operation time of 560 hours. Available to collect in London or posted within UK (and possibly Europe) at buyer's expense. |

Yea it comes with the plug on transmitter also and I believe thats what I paid for it around $800.00
