STILL SEARCHING FOR AN ENG NEWS CAM, SHOULDER MOUNT THAT SHOOTS 16/9 AT A FAIR PRICE. DONT NEED HD, JUST SD. SOMETHING ALONG THE LINE OF IKIE D7, OR THE HI ENS SONY OR A JVC GYDV 700 WOULD FILL THE BILL.

Try to grab a low-hours PDW-510 or 530. Low prices for used camcorders are available since most pro ENG-broadcasters are stepping up to HD. The DSR-450 and 450 are also worth a look if you want it tape-based.

Just not going to be able to fit this into my work right now solo operating.
Fun device, takes some practice to get skilled at, bought it here not long ago. I'll quote the thread I bought it through: "Includes a few extra counter weights than what was originally included, tripod adapter, extra metal gimbal assembly and spare baseplate for parts." 550 takes it. |
