Re: Canon Vixia HF M40 & Raynox .66x Wide Adapter
Nate,
I might be interested, especially in the Raynox lens. Do you see any vignetting when it is widest? I have a similar model (m31) but have been considering a second camera to help film basketball games. (I'm going back to coaching in high school.) Phil |

EyeDirect MARK E (like a smaller Errol Morris Interotron)
"designed to guarantee eye contact from any subject while using a DSLR, C300/100 or prosumer camera. The adjustable base plate, glass mirrors, light-weight and small size, lets you work off a monopod or even handheld."
I bought this to use on a project that's stuck in production hell. It's been out of the house literally twice. Both times indoors in non-smoking environments. It's in brand new condition. you can learn more about it at Mark E I first heard about it from philip bloom. he raves about it at his blog at Eyedirect: Solving the problem of getting people to look straight into the camera. | Philip Bloom it's pretty awesome, and I'm sad I didn't get more use out of it. but, i need the money more than I need to keep an awesome piece of gear around. :-p new it costs $995 + tax/customs/shipping. i'm asking for $750 (obo) + cost of shipping (will ship to USA, any custom charges are yours though).

Panasonic AF100 + lots more
I bought a bunch of camera gear for a documentary project that eventually died in production. I would rather pay off my debts than have it all just sitting in my closet, so I'm selling most of my gear. This gear has been very carefully cared for, and only used in controlled environments. They are all in practically new condition, some items have only ever been used once or twice! Kept in a non-smoking home. I'm serious when I say these are in practically new condition.
If you know your high-end video camera gear, then I don't need to explain how amazing the AF100 is. If you don't know, google is your friend. don't bother playing 20 questions with me. . . unless they're legit questions about my use and the condition of the items (in other words, no noob questions, please). I'm looking to sell this lot as a kit, and not break it up into little pieces. I just don't have the patience for it: * PANASONIC AF100: (body only) the camera is in *MINT CONDITION*, with only 125 hours of use and is still under warranty. the manual, factory battery, and charger/AC adapter are included. [current market price new is $4300 + tax] * THE AF100 BOOK: the somewhat famous book on the camera by Barry Green. this book is an amazing resource for understanding all the ins and outs of the camera and how to fine-tune the look of your image. [new cost is $90 + tax] * IDX SSL-VBG50 BATTERY: an extra high-capacity battery. depending on your use, it can give you over 8 hours with a full charge. it has an LED indicator light on the back for easy gauging. it's gone through less than a dozen recharge cycles, so it's practically new. [new cost is $200 + tax] * IDX LC-VWP DUAL-BATTERY CHARGER: for charging two batteries at once (the factory charger only does one battery at a time). [new cost $180 + tax] * PORT-A-BRACE RS-AF1F3B RAIN SLICKER: (black) great protection for rain or snow. [new cost $270 + tax] * PETROL PA-1009 LCD HOOD: allows for significantly better viewing of the LCD screen outdoors. [new $20 + tax] * LOWEPRO AW DV CAMERA BAG: this is an older (discontinued), but still in immaculate condition, camera bag. lots of room for the AF100, lenses, batteries, and so much more. It's current equivalent is Lowepro's Magnum 650 AW bag, which goes for $330 + tax. The reason I mention the current prices for each individual item is I want to impress upon you that all this would cost you $5,290 + tax. . . which, with ontario's HST, makes for a figure of $5,977.70. I'm asking $4,300 (obo) for the lot . . . for which I'll even through in my lightly used Birns & Sawyer 425003 Professional Acrylic Production Slate (with greyscale clapper) which runs about $100 new. Shipping +insurance costs will be extra, of course.

Silver GH2 and lenses, shotgun mic, and accessories
I'm moving out of the Micro-Four Thirds format. If you're ultra serious about M4/3 format, this package has everything you need to start out.
You are viewing a Panasonic DMC-GH2 (Silver) with Panasonic DMW MS1 shotgun microphone (made for camera) plus various accessories and lenses. Includes Delkin LCD hood already attached, I never used my GH2s without them. This is my fourth, last, GH2. It's my favorite, the silver one. Includes the original box with ALL original accessories and manual BUT DOES NOT INCLUDE THE 14-42 LENS LISTED ON THE BOX IN THE PHOTO. I am looking for best offer over $1700. This sale does not include the 14-42mm lens listed on box. I will take best offer made by Sunday 9pm Eastern Time. If no offers come in I will leave up till it sells on ebay or on here, whichever comes first. Ebay auction ends around 9pm Sunday Eastern time. I have become uncomfortable with Ebay, and would prefer to sell here among friends. Lenses that are included in package: Olympus 45mm F/1.8 Lens With Lens Hood Panasonic 25mm F/1.4 Lens with Lens Hood Olympus 12mm F/2.0 lens (amazing lens, you'll never want to remove from camera) Canon FD 135mm F/2.5 plus adapter for camera (Lens cap is missing Canon Logo but is otherwise fine) Accessories Included: Five Genuine Panasonic Batteries DMWDCC8 AC adapter (AC cord NOT included) Coolight shoe adapter for mounting light and shotgun microphone simultaneously (may not work with included shotgun, cord too short for that height. Two (2) Mini plug adapters for attaching non-OEM microphone Three Lens Adapters Included: (Not pictured, ask and I'll email you photo, 7 photos are limit here) Panasonic DMW-MA1 4/3 to M 4/3 Adapter ($100 new) Canon EOS to M4/3 Adapter to use Canon EOS lenses Canon FD to M4/3 Adapter (HAND TOOLED IN EUROPE VERY HIGH QUALITY) Battery Charger Camera LCD has nearly brand new removable Delkin LCD hood, outstanding for outdoor work. Message me here or call Jeff at 513-708-3362. Paypal and all major credit cards accepted. Last edited by Jeff Harper; August 2nd, 2013 at 02:18 PM. |

Re: Silver GH2 and lenses, shotgun mic, and accessories
Great guy, great package. Love the 12mm 2.0, tested it for a bit. Just couldn't afford it really yet over the 14mm 2.5, but someday I will!!

Re: Canon Vixia HF M40 & Raynox .66x Wide Adapter
Hi Phil,
No vignetting with the wide angle. I'm sure the M40 would pair well with the M31. From what I remember they are the same generation of Canon cameras. |

Thanks to everyone for the PM's.
The used prices are just too high so I have decided to go new. |
