Re: Rode NTG3 shotgun microphone
Ed, did you register your NTG-3 on line with Rode for its free 10yr warranty?
Cheers.

Re: Rode NTG3 shotgun microphone
Allen, yes the mic was registered. However I just checked their site and for some reason it is showing up as a different model, despite listing the correct serial #. Must be an error with their site - I will contact them about that. Thanks for bringing that up.

Audio-Technica AT8022 X/Y Stereo Microphone
I have an AT8022 X/Y Stereo Microphone for sale. This was purchased barely-used a few months back, but just doesn't work for my shooting, so I've decided to off-load this to replace it with something else.
The only sign of wear is to the original cardboard box, which is a little bit frayed around the edges. Everything works perfectly. Search around and see how well-regarded this mic is at its price point. It does seem to work better for music than for steam trains! All original accessories and cables are included, some still in plastic. In the box are: - AT8022 mic - 5-Pin XLR to dual 3-Pin XLR Cable (6.5') (2.0 m) - 5-Pin to Stereo 1/8" (3.5mm) Mini (2.0') (0.6 m) - AT8405a Stand Clamp for 5/8"-27 Threaded Stands - Windscreen - Soft Protective Pouch The only item not included from the original packaging is the AA battery! It also includes what appears to be an adapter to put the stand clamp on a hotshoe, I don't want do open the plastic to find out. Total cost of all this new at today's prices is approx £330. I paid £300 for it. Asking price: £200 + postage (prefer UK-only, but will ship to EU at cost) Payment by Paypal only, please. |

Manfrotto 561BHDV-1 Monopod
I have a Manfrotto 561BHDV-1 Monopod for sale. I used this under my Sony NX70 camcorder on a few filming trips, but it's no longer appropriate for my much bigger, heavier camcorder.
It's fine for small camcorders (think Sony NX70 or Canon XF100, and other mid-size handycam style cameras) and great for DSLRs. This monopod has four sections and extends to over 2m when you include the head. It really is great for getting over the heads of a crowd, for example. The photos show it compared to a normal UK door frame, it is quite tall indeed. The monopod includes fold-out feet for a bit more stability, but be warned that it is not self-supporting. Don't put your camera on it and let go of the monopod. The monopod ships in its original box, and includes the 701HDV head (including all screws on the plate). I paid £220 for this from WEX, current prices seem to vary between £180-£260 including VAT., Asking price: £100 + postage (prefer UK-only, but will ship to EU at cost) Payment by Paypal only, please. |

Re: Silicon Imaging SI2K kit
That may move it for you. There was another on eBay sold in the US for about the same. Curiously, it had not turned up on eBay search until after the auction concluded.
It is rather sad for those of us who invested to see the price drop away but there is some re-assurance that the they will endure, having been built to very high standards. This may be as much why they do not turn up on the used market all that often. People may still go on using them. |

Hi all!
I'm living in Singapore, and I want to buy a good condition Sachtler FSB-8 head or a Vinten Vision Blue5 head. As of now, I'm not looking for any sets / kits. If you're thinking of selling yours, do pop some details, photos and your quote to tanzexun at gmail dot com. Payment will be through paypal. Do note that you must be willing to ship to Singapore! Cheers, Zexun |
