Canon HF100
Looking to go “tapeless”?
My Canon Vixia HF100's are not seeing any use these days so one of them is up for sale. $250 - has seen only light use and been well protected and cared for. Comes with original box, manual, Canon BP809 battery with AC adapter/charger, component & AV cables, and Canon software disk. Everything that originally came with the camera. Extras I'm including that did NOT originally come with the camera: BP819 extended battery, 37-52mm stepup ring, 52mm Hoya HMC UV filter (has been installed since the camera was new to keep dust, pollutants, and moisture out of the lens and self closing lens cap blades), a Hoodman 300 LCD hood with 2x magnifyer, 2 4GB PNY Class (4) SDHC cards, and a Hama rectangular lens hood (can't get this hood anymore) with cap. This camera runs happily on either PNY or SanDisk Class (4) or Class (6) SDHC cards and does nice sharp 1920x1080 60i, 24p and 30p both in 60i wrapper, and does 3MP stills. External mic input (I used Rode VideoMic and Rode SVM with very good results), headphone jack for audio monitoring. This can be a very good stepup from HV series cameras. Here is a sample video done with it for thewindcutter.com when I was field testing prototype ZoomH1 Windjackets for them. Watch it from vimeo if you can, embedding here makes the IQ more than a bit "mushy".
