fyi - it's not a 'remote control' tripod. There's nothing electronic about it... it certainly doesn't plug into any LANC ports... You might want to reword your post.

If that is the right one, now we know. (TT-800 plus TT-1000RC) A more precise description would definately avoid confusion.

sorry i didnt know people were actually posting. it isnt very professional control, but the work very well, and i have produced 2 semester finals with it and it held up my vx2000 perfectly.

the zoom is COMPLETELY smooth because it is not in the fact that the harder you press the faser it goes. it has preset speeds, all zooms speeds. 7 speeds. you trun a dial left for fastest, right for slowest, so you can creep zoom without worrying about screwing it up. i have found this more usefull than a variable zoom in which the harder i press the faster it goes.
