Mike the only thing I think you could be referring to is the bvm-d9h5u which is a 9" HD monitor which isnt' really a replacement for the 8045

If your son can deal with Jap menus, you can get the Jap version of the 953 for $800 brand-new. It would have been a lot cheaper if not for the strong Yen.

Monitor is an 8041q not an 8044, same features but not an HR monitor, sorry for any confusion. I'll have a price list up shortly.

I am selling my Canon XL-1. The Camera is in excellent condition. I am asking 1750.00. The Camera includes 2 batteries (1 normal, 1 extended use) and the MA100 xlr adapter. Ken thanks, I just know how sometimes you might order something (like I don't know... a boom pole through ebay) and then find out that you'd have better luck using the end of a mop handle (it wasn't that bad...)
