Matt,
Curious to know what normal wear this mic shows. If it is 100% for sound quality, I'm interested |

We'll see if Rob takes it, but I need to make a correction. The clip it comes with is the VAMPIRE CLIP... NOT the alligator clip.
I prefer the vampire clip by far and use it most of the time, but it's the only clip that I have an extra of... my other Trams are complete kits and I'm not going to break one of those up. I'd rather include the vampire clip, which is a superior mount anyway 'cause it's far less conspicuous. Either way, for the mistake... I'll knock another $5 off... so it's $85 with insured shipping. |

FS: Birns & Sawyer's "Pansonic DVX100 Tips, Tricks & Basic Operations" DVD
This is the Birns & Sawyer 'Master Series of Filmmaking' instructional video:
"Panasonic DVX-100: Tips, Tricks, & Basic Operations" Hosted by D.P. Nancy Scrhreiber, ASC, winner of this year's Sundance Film Festival Best Cinematography Award for her work on the independent feature "November" -- starring Courtney Cox and shot entirely on the DVX-100! This DVD goes over the basic features, functions and menu settings of the 24p miniDV cam, aimed at the beginning user. I found this very helpful in getting me aquainted with the DVX and all the variations on the menu settings you can play around with, etc. Really helps supplement what's in the manual, so you can see someone making the changes in the settings and explaining what they do, rather than just reading it off a piece of paper. (Warning: this training video was made for the original DVX100, so some of the things the instructors say are not applicable to the new 100(A) model, like when they say you can't boost gain in progressive modes, etc.) As far as I know, you will not find this DVD cheaper than $50 anywhere. I bought it from B&H a week ago and have only viewed the DVD twice, so the disc and the case are in like new, perfect condition. Asking $20 ...OBO (FREE first class shipping, or add $4 for priority mail) E-mail: krishnaprime@yahoo.com with inquiries. |
