WTB: AC power adapter for canon gl-1
I think all the canon converters work... It's the one that plugs into the battery charger then into the camera.
Thanks.

Thanks Tommy
Wow, thanks for finding those links. The reviews are right. For it's small size this combination is incredible. The sound is very appealing for home theatre set-ups.
Also, if anyone is considering delving into the world of 5.1 DVD production you can hook this up to your digital out soundcard and have a very true feeling of what your final product will sound like |

For Sale: VX2000 + Accessories
i am selling my sony vx2000 with ALL the accessories. that includes everything that came with the camera, plus extras (see below list).
the package includes: -sony DCR-VX2000 (NTSC) -canon 58mm UV filter -sony NP-F960 battery (this is the highest capacity battery sony makes - 9 hours) -original manuals (french and english) -all original accessories (2 eye cups, remote control, charger and cable, original battery, lens hood, lens cap, memory stick, USB memory stick reader, sony picture software, etc.) -cleaning cassette -original vx2000 box and styrofoam -everything that came with the camera the camera has been serviced BY SONY (not by an unauthorized third party) last april, and ensured me that it met factory refurbished condition. this means you are getting an essentially 8 month old camera. upon talking with the sony tech that did the servicing, out of curiosity i asked him how the heads look (after hearing about people being very worried about head wear). he said that they are in perfect condition and not to worry at all. the reason i must sell my gear is simple: outstanding debts + lack of job = liquidation of my valuables throwing christmas time into the equation only makes it even worse! (and i'm a full time student to boot!) it's sad really because i love this cam and it's been with me through two productions. rest assured this camera has been babied. the camera element ALWAYS was protected with a UV filter. the glass is in immaculate condition. the only imperfections present are cosmetic (some small little scratches on camera housing and microphone is just a TINY bit loose), everything works and functions perfectly. i thought i'd post an ad on the message boards before i put it on e-bay. if anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. all questions are welcome, no matter how "stupid" or "beginner" any might seem. everyone must start somewhere. here is a web page containing some pics of the gear: http://shralperbmx.tripod.com/sonydcrvx2000package/ *please note that in some of these pictures, a century optics lens adapter is shown. this item is the only item NOT included with the package. anyone who is interested please contact me and we can discuss pricing. my email is: chrisnicholas27@icqmail.com thanks |

You will have much better look getting it from Canon. Most people
want to use the adapter with the camera.
