Bump
Hi everybody--just a bump to say this bag is still available. Now that we're nearer to snow then we were when I first posted it, I figured I'd try again. Any interest?

Well, I would guess it was made in 2000 or early 2001. I purchased it in spring of 2001.
The manual is printed with the date 1999, but the insert page that came in the box (which I have) says 2001. That doesn't necessarily mean anything about the camera, though, just shows when I purchased it. :) However, in answer to your question: it was new in spring 2001. |

Since this might answer some questions I've been getting, I'll explain my rationale for the $1000 or more asking price.
1. The GL1 is very similar to the GL2, and virtually the only major enhancement from GL1 to GL2 is on the audio side (the added some on-camera audio controls and an LCD on the GL2), image quality is identical (it's the same 1/3" 3 CCD tech). The GL2 still sells for $1800-2500 new. 2. The lens + extra battery + camera bag would be $150-200 new right now (paid considerably more for them 2 years ago, though). 3. A GL1 by itself seems to be going for around $1,000 (give or take) on eBay. Which leads me to believe if push came to shove, I'd have a good chance of getting that there... but I'd rather avoid eBay if I could. Please feel free to ask any questions! :) |

Josh, I think you meant that the GL1 and GL2 are both 1/4" 3CCD.
Good luck with sale! |

FS: Varizoom Flowpod
Hello All,
I've got a used flowpod for sale. Everything works great, I'm just finding that I need only the monopod portion and not the steady capabilities. This kit includes the flowpod, extra screws, 3 counter weights, instruction manual, and the balancing kit for ease of balancing. I am asking for $250 and the buyer pays for shipping. If you are interested in pictures let me know. You can email me at: keysonthetable@yahoo.com Here's the varizoom link to the flowpod: http://www.varizoom.com/pages/flowpod.php Thanks for looking, Ron |
