Re: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM
I traded mine for a crappy EF kit lens I bought at a garage sale for $27 ('cuz I didn't have an even $30). That's where.
(Note: I highly recommend this lens, it lives in my loaded backpack. Absolutely worth $340) |

Re: Tokina 50-135mm f2.8 Lens, Canon mount
GH2 is "hot" because it can shoot great video, but be forewarned, it is not easy to get the results, takes a lot of practice, not for the faint of heart! Check out Oleg's page below for some samples. I googled gh2 video, etc and there are a LOT of horrible videos out there also, but it's the fault of the user, not the camera!
check out the Angels of love video for a sample: http://vimeo.com/olegkalyan

Sachtler Touch and Go Wedge Plate for DV-2
I keep losing my Touch and Go plates. I've had a sweet camera stolen while it was attached to the thing, I've lost it in the forest, it's fallen in to the bleedin' ocean and now someone who rented it from me has lost it. It's somewhere between ironic and funny how a lost little piece of aluminum with a couple holes in it renders my baller tripod useless, but true. Regardless, I've spent the $67+shipping more often then I'd like. I am ready to have extras. Does anyone have any? Have you perhaps found mine in the ocean or forest? I'm willing to pay a fair price for as many as I can find.
Thanks and cheers. |

Re: Sony PDW-U1 reader-writer for XDCAM disks in mint condition
Rebump... this reader/writer in perfectly mint condition will also act as an ideal back-up device, on reliable XDCAM-disk. Open to reasonable offers.

Green Pelican 1690 case
Barely used Pelican 1690 case in green color. It's a big case- perfect for storing lights and other stuff. I cut the foam for two Kino Diva lights, but I have some extra foam for you to arrange whatever you want in there. A few minor usage scuffs. Asking $135. Best offer takes it. Local p/u in Philadelphia/Northeast region only.

Re: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM
I meant I can get a new one for 30 bucks more than what he is selling it for. Fact is it is used regardless of what condition.

Re: Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM
My misunderstanding, Michael F.
Michael H., I'm thinking about it. I'm working on a $500 budget. I'm contemplating whether to spend on two fast lenses (EF 85mm 1.8, EF 50mm 1.8 Mk I), or one really good, really fast lens (EF 50mm 1.4) and a viewing monitor. With the former, I'm stuck trying to get a good focus on the camera's small LCD monitor (in SD for that matter); with the latter, I lose length without a longer lens.

Re: Sony EX3
Just would like to add that I've bought used gear from Gary twice without any issues. Both, the DSR-11 deck and the EX1, are still in regular use and have worked flawlessly since I bought them from gary. Would have no hesitation to buy items from him again. Perfect partner to buy used items.

Ya that's a tough decision, I'm sure you know that this is a great lens and you won't be sorry, but it's up to you, just let me know!
