Re: PMW-ex1r or nx5u preferrably 2nd hand but wiling to listen to offers for new
Not sure if your only looking for the ex1r but I have a EX1 with latest firmware for sale. It has 122 hours and operates like new. Shows just a little bit of use with a tiny bit of paint rubbed off the internal mic. Included with the camera are 4x8gig sxs cards, 2 sony batteries, 2 swit d-tap batteries, sxs card reader including all original accessories. It's a great camera and includes everything you would need. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks

Feeler: 5D Mark II + Extras
This is a great camera that I really don't want to let go but I am considering an upgrade so I'm putting this out there. The camera body has some paint wear but its purely cosmetic. The camera is well cared for and in good working order. I have the original box and everything that came with in. It has about 12,5XX actuations.
Canon 5D Mark II + (1) 4GB CF card + charger and two batteries EF 85mm f/1.8 + Hoya multicoated UV filter Arsat Arax 35mm f/2.8 shift lens Canon speedlite 270 EX flash Has a tilt/bounce head. Very little use. Perfect companion for 5D. Only requires 2 AA batteries. Make me an offer. mindlee (a) gmail (dot) com. |

Re: 3 Canon HV30 and extras
Glad things worked out for you! I'm going AVCHD for my classes and Rode videomics, but the HV30 and Sennheiser setup rocked while we used it!

Re: 3 Canon HV30 and extras
Bob, I'm using your HV30 with 4 DSLRs for audio, so I'm AVCHD also. Can't monitor the audio with DSLRs. I love a shotgun on the HV30, audio quality is very good. I also have a Rode Videomic and Videomic Pro. Did you run any comparisons of the Sennheiser and Rode? What I've read is the Senny might lack a bit in the low end and be noisier, but many do seem to like them. I will soon find out I suppose!

Re: EX1 + Letus Elite
OK, so - after some more consideration - I've decided not to sell my EX1 with peripherals, just the Letus Elite bundle (cannot edit my original post to reflect that).
I believe the EX1 is just too good an all-around camera to get rid of it! The Letus Elite complete bundle I will sell for the equivalent of some GBP 1,000 (1,200 with the Canon FD glass: 24mm/F2.8, 50mm/F1.4, 85mm/F1.8, 30-105mm/F3.5).

Re: 3 Canon HV30 and extras
Actually, I'm looking at the Rode because it's physically larger than the Sennheiser. My problem resides with the students I teach and how they treat the gear. I wanted something more substantial as well as capable.

Re: 3 Canon HV30 and extras
I can tell you the Sennheiser is of a more solid design, physically than either Rode. The older Rode model jumps around during movement using it's support system, but produces excellent results. It's just such a flimsy setup. The support system on both of them make them seem like Fisher-Price toys. The newer Rode is better overall, but the support bands seem to slip off easily when you are handling it, and changing batteries on it is so awkard it's frustrating.
I am absolutely in love with the Sennheiser for it's build quality. It is my single new favorite piece of gear.
