Sony PMW-EX1 Kit, Basic Accessories
PLEASE NOTE: This camera is in good working order with the following exception: the component video output jack is not functional. During use, a cable was pulled, and damaged the port. All other functions and outputs, including the Video output and HD-SDI output are in good working order.
****** I recently upgraded to a PMW-EX3, and I also have a PMW-F3. So, I'm selling my PMW-EX1. It's served me well, but I don't need all three cameras. Basic info: *I'm the second owner. First owner was a post production house, they barely used it. *I acquired it in late 2008 * Serial number is 1025xx *Kept in a smoke free home. *Never dropped. *Upgraded to firmware V1.20 *Has been tested to accept SxS-1 and SDHC cards with current firmware, as would be expected. *Has 818H on hours meter. Please note, this means total hours on, not necessarily recording - and as a tapeless camera, there are no drum hours. *COMPONENT VIDEO OUTPUT PORT IS BROKEN. This happened over a year ago on a set. A PA tripped over the cord, and damaged the port. Research indicated this could be repaired, but I was out of warranty, and as most of my monitoring is HD-SDI, I opted not to repair at that time. Physically, the circuit board for the video output would likely need to be replaced. Service cost would likely be higher than the part cost. *All other functions work well. *Lens is clean, and without scratches. *Camera does has general cosmetic wear. As you'll note in the pictures, some labeling on the camera body has faded. *Has been used for work within the past month. Works great. *Included BP-U30 battery holds a good charge *Included 8GB SxS Pro card is in good working order. What's included: (very similar to retail kit) *Sony PMW-EX1 Camcorder *8 GB SxS Pro Card *BP-U30 Battery *Sony Charger (also serves as an AC power source for camera) *Remote control *Sony Strap, never used *Composite A/V Cable (not sure it's the one originally from Sony, but tested, and works) *User Manual Asking price: $4,250 (USD) Located Nashville, TN, USA Pictures:

Re: Steadicam Pilot-AA
The Steadicam is still available and I have attached some pictures. I tested it out again today and everything is in working order. The scratches on the LCD aren't bad, but could be annoying to some. Not a big deal for me because it is used for framing only.
In my pictures I have the whole setup on an Arri light stand. A short C-stand (or turtle stand) is recommended but I can include that if you want it.

I purchased it Jan 2010, and used it on about 12 jobs.

Re: Complete Gear Clearout due to going blind
Wow, thats terrible to hear man - glad to hear your taking it all in stride.
If you don't mind, when you get your prices in order, I might be interested in some CF cards and maybe the 526 (depending when my paycheck from the last production comes in.... you know...) if you don't mind the whole shipping across the pond business. Just update the thread and I'll see it... |

Re: Complete Gear Clearout due to going blind
A difficult decision in a rotten situation. Definitely not something you like to hear. My prayers are with you.
There are several pieces I might be interested in, but I'm in the States, so if you change your mind about shipping outside of EU, let us know.

Sony PD170
Any interest in A PD170 with fairly low hours? Heads have been cleaned at regular intervals and CCD's were changed at Sony. Probably shot only a dozen times afterward. Looking for $850. I will post all relevant info if there is any interest. Send an e-mail.
