I'm selling a Canon GL1 with a Tiffen 58mm Warm Polarizer and a Canon BP-930 battery. Comes with soft carrying case, and all standard accessories. The camera has been used apx. 50 hours for Independent Films and Cable television.
A batch of stills from this camera can be found here. http://home.inreach.com/bobinick/gl1stills.htm The camera is in very good physical condition, and has always been stored in a dry, low humidity area. It has been used with Panasonic Master (MQ) tapes. The camera has no bad pixels. Asking $1600 or $1750 with Beachtec DXA-4P + shipping. Here are some pictures of the camera. http://home.inreach.com/bobinick/gl1pictures.htm nicholson_mark1@hotmail.com |

WTB: Used Portabrace stuff
Looking for:
- POL-A (Polar bear heated camera case) http://www.portabrace.com/asp/ProdDesc.asp?DescCode=POL Needed as soon as it snows for snowmachine footage. I had a guy who was going to sell me a used one local, but decided to keep it. - HKP-2 or HPF-3 (Hiker pro camera case) http://www.portabrace.com/asp/ProdDesc.asp?DescCode=HV The HKP-2 one is not as important as the Polar bear, and don't really have a use for it until next spring during our dry season, but may use it in New Zealand this February (hit and miss with their weather). *edit, added product links*

us or abroad?
I can ship abroad but I don't think I can send overnight, because there is no next day air outside of the USA. I can send it regular mail if you don't mind. But that's not a problem. Thanks.

I'd like some different Porta-Brace stuff, if anyone is selling.
Definitely a couple used Porta-Brace rain slickers and maybe a Porta Brace gear bag. If anyone has any, let me know please. |

Porta-Brace Backpacks
I just recently purchased a porta brace BK-3 and was gravely disappointed with it. It was neither an aedquate backpack nor camera bag. I own other portabrace products (camera bags and rain gear) and they are outstanding.
I did not demo the model you want. However, the model I purchased and now returned was so bad, I wonder if the porta-brace people understand the needs of one who needs a two strap bag or backpack. If you want I can enumerate the deficiencies I found, but for the sake of brevity I won't right now. But may I suggest, a Lowepro SuperTrekker backpack? I did some comparision shopping and found their design to be more like real backpacks and a plethora of compartment dividers. Best, Mike |

US purchasers only? What, too much hassle with UPS? :)
Actually, I just bought one of these for Keith Loh's XL1s for the Umbrella shoot on the weekend (with his money). Which was good, because it rained. I was quite pleased with the Kata cover, it did a great job. I think it cost $175cdn, or about $110us, so someone should snatch this bargain up for $69 pretty quickly. |

Don't be too put off international shipping by UPS. Shipping stuff through the regular post is much much easier.
