If you aren't in a hurry, you might be able to find a used GL1 for close to $1000. $1300 might be more realistic though.

I'm not in an "overnight" hurry, but I'm hoping for sometime this month. I've done a LOT of research online, and the VX2000 looks perfect for my needs because of it's low light performance. The GL2 also looks good, but the GL1 has some problems from what I've read. I'm really hoping to find a VX2000 though. Some of the domain names are worth thousands. If someone has a VX2000 (or GL2) and sees a domain name they could use, please contact me. I do have a small amount of cash on me as well, but not enough to just flat out buy one. Maybe something could be negotiated?

Ewa Marine VXM Underwater Housing for the GL1. This housing is in perfect condition after only being used for one project. Light weight and durable. It has attachments that allow for the wide angle lens. I don't need it anymore, but it's great fun. Retails for $415. I'm asking $340.
