Yep, it connects to an external firewire drive.
For another 100 bucks, I will add one external firewire with a 120 gig drive in it. So, for $450 shipped, the FS-1 plus an external firewire drive enclosure with 120 gig IDE drive. This is what I have been using. Dave |

How much for just the XL1 and lens?
Hi Hugh:
I was wondering how much you would take for just the camera and lens itself. Thanks, Bruce |

FS: Panasonic AG-DVC80 + Extras 50 hours only
Hello everyone, Just thought I'd give you guys a crack at my video equipment. I've got a Pana DVC80 up for sale including the following items:
All original equipment included with Camcorder (ac/dc Charger/Adapter, 1 1600 mAh Pana Battery, Wireless Remote control unit, Eye Cup, Microphone holder -already on camera unit, Shoulder Strap) plus... 1 extra 5400 Pana Battery 2 extra 2800 Pana Battery 1 72mm Tiffen UV Filter 1 Panasonic AG-MC100 XLR Shotgun Microphone 1 Rycote Windscreen (gray dead cat tail :)) DV Matics LCD Sunshade/Hood Petrol PCUB-1 Camera Bag 3 Extra Panasonic Master Quality 63 minute Tapes Don't know if It's transferrable but I still have 3 years on my Mack Warranty I've had this setup for less than a year, have 50 Hours on the heads and only Used Panasonic MQ 63 min tapes. Bought it for family use but the wife and kids prefer the smaller camcorder. Hate to see it go but we've not used it for a few months now. I've tested the unit and it works just like the day I got it. I've protected it from heat, moisture and dust and have baby'd it since day one. Asking $1950.00, OBO, Shipped and Insured anywhere in the continental US and/or Canada. I can provide pictures of the equipment and a screen cap of the hour meter reading via e-mail , just drop me an email at Arnold.sandiego@verizon.net. Payment via Confirmed Paypal only. I'll only ship to a Confirmed Paypal address as well. I know I'm not well known in the forums here but for references, my ebay userid is knightofdolamroth . I've got no neutral or negative feedback! If it doesn't move here, I'll have to swing it over to eBay. A recent dvc80 went for 2100.00 with much less in the package that was sold, so hopefully my stuff will pique someone's interest. Thanks for reading and holler at me if you're interested! |

Extra Info...
Just some extra info. I do have the original Operating Instructions manual that came with the camera. I am also the original owner and had purchased the dvc80 from B&H Photo last summer. The AV ports are in great shape, I used another dedicated Pana Camcorder as my edit deck and not the Dvc80, so the firewire port is fine. Also, for those interested, it's coming from a pet free and cigarette free home :) Again, I can provide close up pics of the camera and accompanying equipment.

FS: Panasonic GS100k mint condition
Unfortunately have to sell my gs100, purchsed from www.pricejapan.com less than a year ago. I have only run three tapes through it. It has had a uv filter on it from the first day i recieved it, to protect the lens. It's a 3ccd camera. Records in 60i and has frame mode for 30p recording, similar to canon gl2. Records in 4:3 and also does 16:9 with very little resolution loss. Also has cinema mode which combines 30p with widescreen and cine-like gamma for a more film like appearance to your video. Camera has full manual controls with a focus ring. Comes with everything including box as new and a Roots camera bag that fits camera and all accesories perfectly. This is the black version of the camera and is Japanese INCLUDING all menus. I speak no japanese and operating the camera has never been a problem for me, i can provide a pdf translation of menus. I am asking $1000.00 Canadian o.b.o. I would prefer to sell within canada for ease of shipping but am open to other offers.
email me at tjshaver*@*shaw.ca (remove *'s in address) will email pics upon request. Last edited by Tavis Shaver; May 2nd, 2005 at 05:43 AM. |
