Wtb: Vx2000
I am looking to buy a used VX2000. I would prefer all accessories, but I'm willing to negotiate if some are missing. Camera must be in perfect working condition, physically some body scratches would be expected and acceptable.
Thanks, Kim

People may not like me for this, but try ebay. There's a ton of 'em (I've been looking into super 8 stuff).

I have a 16mm projector if anyone is interested. I'll have to search the attic for a super 8.
BTW- there are many facilities that will do a telecine from super 8 movies and I don't believe it's that expensive. They make transfers for all the people out there with super 8 home movies. |

Jared, do a search for "telecine" and "Poor man's telecine" for information on how to go about it. http://www.moviestuff.tv does great work, located in houston. They also sell their custom modified projectors and transfer software. High priced for a one-off, but if you are looking at it as a business or doing lots of shooting yourself, it's about the best way to go.

I have a VX2100 in perfect working condition that I may be interested in selling. It is the newer improved version of the VX2000.
I also have a Canon wide angle lens adapter and Raynox fisheye adapter, 4 batteries, external battery charger. I kept the original Sony box, manual, etc. I bought it at the beginning of 2004 from B&H photo. I paid about $3000 for everything new. Give me an offer if you're interested. Thanks, Brooks |

There's another place in Houston that does it, called Video Tape Copy. I was quoted at $6.50 per reel (to transfer to tape, that is), with a $36 minimum.
